Three things you need to pack

In exactly two days, Tati and I are travelling to Miami on business. Words cannot amount to the level of excitement leading up to the day we take off. We’re more than ready to soak up the heat and sun rays. Our short three day stay in Miami is going to be hectic but well worth it.

Despite our short stay, our luggage is going to be packed to the rim. This is why I have curated a list of the three important items that I will be packing for my sister and I. I’m feeling pretty confident about sharing this list with all of you as I have been a victim of forgetful packing.

Here are my top 3 important miscellaneous items that you should pack:

NIVEA is, without a doubt, my favourite lip balm brand. I personally prefer their stick lip balms for sanitary preferences, but I’ve heard great reviews about the jar ones!

They carry up to thirteen types of lip balms in their stick lip care line that ranges from “Fruit Shine”, if you’re looking to moisturize and add a tint to your lips, to “Soothing Care” that protects sensitive lips from chapping.

If you have a lip balm fetish like me, I definitely recommend their “Hydro Care”. It’s an all around amazing product that keeps your lips moisturized for several hours.

Since we’ll be travelling to Miami, it’s going to be a whole new weather game out there. Here’s the great thing about NIVEA’s extensive lip care line, they even have a lip balm specifically  made to protect the thin skin on your lips from harsh UVA and UVB rays. With SPF 30, you won’t have to worry about your lips getting burned.

As you can probably tell, I am a lip balm advocate – you need at least one lip balm with you at all times.

Scotch™ Lint Roller has become another product that I’ve quickly learned to appreciate. I’ve never understood the importance of having a lint roller at hand but after having worked in retail for a while, I get it. Just knowing that I have this guy in my bag is reassuring because I always want to look clean and polished. You never know when you’ll have an emergency lint problem.

According to Sun Times Network, Miami is amongst the top 20 cities in Florida with the worst mosquito bites. As discomforting as that sounds, luckily, there’s a solution! I am definitely packing OFF!® familycare® Smooth & Dry Travel Size in my carry-on bag. We want to leave Miami with key chain souvenirs and not pest souvenirs on our bodies.

Even though this list consists of only three products, anyone travelling to Miami or places with tropical temperatures should consider carrying these items with them at all times. What are some of your must-haves that you need to have with you when you’re travelling? Let us know!
